Welcome to the exciting world of traditional music of the North Aegean!

This music consists of songs and dances that accompanied rural people in their daily lives and celebrations. It originated from the people of the islands (Lesvos, Limnos, Chios, Samos, Ikaria) and was passed down orally from generation to generation. Later on, it also incorporated elements from the music of Asia Minor and even Western Europe.
